Pamela Anderson

| Pamela Denise Anderson was born July 1, 1967 in Ladysmith, British Columbia,
Canada. The daughter of working-class parents, Barry and Carol Anderson, Pamela worked
as a fitness instructor until she was "discovered" at a Canadian football game and hired
by Labatt Breweries to appear in their advertisements. An offer from Playboy followed,
as did other modeling opportunities. Her first big break came in 1991 on the television
sitcom Home Improvement. A prominent role on Baywatch followed. A leap to the silver
screen in Barb Wire was unsuccessful and Anderson returned to television in 1998 as the
star of V.I.P. Her highly publicized relationships have included an unsuccessful marriage
to Motley Crue rocker Tommy Lee, with whom she has two sons, and an engagement to rapper
Kid Rock (a.k.a Robert Ritchie). Anderson currently stars in the Fox sitcom Stacked. |
